Eur price in Egypt on Monday, November 30, 2020


The average exchange rate of the euro against the Egyptian pound on Monday 30 November 2020, in banks operating in Egypt, amid calm trading.

Arab International Bank came as the best bank to sell the euro for 18.69 pounds, while SAIB was the best bank to buy the euro for 18.5707 pounds to buy.

According to the Central Bank of Egypt, the average exchange rate of the euro against the Egyptian pound in the official banks was 18.6694 pounds for purchase, and 18.7937 pounds for sale.

The euro exchange rate at the National Bank of Egypt (the largest government bank) was 18.6394 pounds for purchase and 18.7903 pounds for sale, the same rate as the Bank of Egypt (government).

Since 2016, Egypt has successfully implemented an economic reform plan, in which it has been able to improve people's living conditions, control markets and control the currency market.

Economic reforms have contributed to the availability of foreign exchange supply, with economic indicators improving by the testimony of many international institutions. 

Egypt has successfully achieved the most difficult items of the economic reform plan through intelligent rationalization of subsidies over the past fiscal year.

According to data from the Egyptian Ministry of Finance, on Saturday, Egypt has achieved great success in reducing fuel and commodity subsidies and exceeded expectations during the last fiscal year 2019/2020. 

The Egyptian government succeeded in reducing oil subsidies by 77%, to 18.6 billion pounds, and subsidies for food commodities decreased by 7.6% to 80.4 billion pounds.
